From Gauteng: N3 to Villiers, continue on the R26 through Frankfort, Tweeling, Reitz and Bethlehem. 5 km beyond Bethlehem (along the N5 to Harrismith) turn right onto the R712 to Clarens.

From Natal: N3 to Harrismith, Phuthaditjaba & Golden Gate. Then De Molen Farm is on the right hand side of the road.

From Bloemfontein: N1 to Winburg, N5 to Bethlehem, turn right onto the R712 to Clarens. There is an attractive alternative mountain route through Ladybrand.
